Damit wird der Komplexit\u00e4t und der Ernsthaftigkeit der Beratungsarbeit sowie dem Respekt gegen\u00fcber den KlientInnen Rechnung getragen, die ein erfahrenes, belastbares und verantwortungsf\u00e4higes Beratungsteam ben\u00f6tigen. Voraussetzung ist eine neutrale und wertsch\u00e4tzende Haltung gegen\u00fcber unseren Klient*innen und deren sexuellen Orientierungen bzw. Lebensentw\u00fcrfen, also eine konstruktneutrale Einstellung der Berater*innen, seien sie selbst homosexuell oder heterosexuell orientiert. Wir setzen uns f\u00fcr die Anerkennung der Vielfalt sexueller Orientierungen, der Vielfalt von Geschlechtsvariationen, der Vielfalt von Partnerschafts- und Beziehungsformen, der Vielfalt von Familienformen\u00a0 und der Vielfalt von sexuellen Erlebniswelten ein und streben nach Kooperationen mit anderen Unterst\u00fctzungssystemen, um den Begleitungs- und Versorgungsbedarf unserer Klient*innen zu erf\u00fcllen und sicherzustellen.<\/p>\n<h3>Wie wir arbeiten<\/h3>\n<p>Wir konzentrieren uns auf die Alltagserfahrungen der Klient*innen, legen den beraterischen\/therapeutischen Fokus auf <strong>Ressourcen und Bew\u00e4ltigungsstrategien<\/strong>, unterst\u00fctzen die <strong>Identit\u00e4tsfindung und -entwicklung<\/strong> sowie <strong>Handlungskompetenzen<\/strong> und streben durch Empowerment an, alle Klient*innen zur selbstst\u00e4ndigen Lebensbew\u00e4ltigung zu bef\u00e4higen.<\/p>\n<p>Wir <strong>intervenieren gegen jegliche Form von Diskriminierung<\/strong>, insbesondere Homophobie und Trans*Feindlichkeit, arbeiten eng mit dem sozialen Umfeld junger Menschen zusammen, bieten Obsorgeberechtigten konkrete Unterst\u00fctzung und setzen auf <strong>queere Bildungsarbeit <\/strong>zur \u00dcberwindung von Wissensmangel und Unsicherheiten im Kontext der Abh\u00e4ngigkeit von Kindern und Jugendlichen.<\/p>\n<p>In Einzel-, Familien-, Paar- und Gruppensettings oder im Zuge einer Familienberatung\u00a0 ergreifen unsere Berater*innen eine <strong>neutrale Position <\/strong>und nehmen keine Partei ein.<\/p>\n<h3>Daher fordert COURAGE:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Bedingungslose Akzeptanz von LGBTIQ*-Personen und deren Umsetzung durch die Politik<\/li>\n<li>\u00d6sterreichweite Gesundheitsf\u00f6rderung f\u00fcr LGBTIQ*-Personen, insbesondere eine inter* und trans*positive Gesundheitsversorgung<\/li>\n<li>Verbot der Konversions\u201etherapien\u201c bzw. \u201ereparativen Therapieformen\u201c, insbesondere an Minderj\u00e4hrigen<\/li>\n<li>Umfassender Diskriminierungsschutz von LGBTIQ*-Personen (Levelling-Up)<\/li>\n<li>Integration queerer Lebensweisen in die schulische und au\u00dferschulische sexuelle Bildung<\/li>\n<li>Schaffung von Safe Spaces durch queere Jugendzentren und queeres betreutes Wohnen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Was ist COURAGE*?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>COURAGE* sind im Sinne des Familienberatungsf\u00f6rderungsgesetzes des Bundes anerkannte Beratungsstelle f\u00fcr queere Lebensweisen.<\/li>\n<li>COURAGE* bietet professionelle, kostenlose und anonyme Beratung sowie Psychotherapie vor allem LGBTIQ*+ Personen und ihre Angeh\u00f6rigen an.<\/li>\n<li>COURAGE* versteht sich als Partner*innen-, Familien- und Sexualberatungsstelle und steht in den Themenbereichen Beziehungen und Sexualit\u00e4t sowie Gewalt und sexuelle Gewalt allen Rat- und Hilfesuchenden zur Verf\u00fcgung.<\/li>\n<li>COURAGE* ist bundesweit t\u00e4tig sowie international vernetzt und anerkannt.<\/li>\n<li>Alle COURAGE* Mitarbeiter*innen handeln selbstverst\u00e4ndlich nach den Prinzipien Anonymit\u00e4t, Verschwiegenheit, \u00dcberparteilichkeit und \u00dcberkonfessionalit\u00e4t.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Wo es uns gibt<\/h3>\n<p>Die \u201ePartner*innen-, Familien- und Sexualberatungsstelle <strong>COURAGE<\/strong> wurde im Jahr 1999 in Wien gegr\u00fcndet. Seit dem Jahr 2000 ist <strong>COURAGE<\/strong> eine nach dem Familienberatungsf\u00f6rderungsgesetz (FBFG) anerkannte Familienberatungsstelle mit dem Schwerpunkt LGBTIQ*-Personen, ihre Familien, Partner*innen und Angeh\u00f6rigen. Bis zum Jahr 2009 gab es die Beratungsstelle <strong>COURAGE<\/strong> ausschlie\u00dflich in der Bundeshauptstadt <strong>Wien<\/strong>. Seit 2009 gibt es in <strong>Graz<\/strong> und <strong>Innsbruck<\/strong> Beratungsstellen, seit 2015 die Beratungsstelle <strong>COURAGE Salzburg,<\/strong> seit 2017 die Beratungsstelle <strong>COURAGE Linz, <\/strong>und seit 2022 die<strong> COURAGE Klagenfurt<\/strong>.
