COURAGE is an advice center for individuals and partners as well as families. Counseling topics
COURAGE is the first professional advice center, officially recognized by the Austrian Family Ministry, for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersexed people, as well as their families.
COURAGE offers individuals, couples, families and groups anonymous counseling. The sessions are free of charge.
The basic concept of the advice center contains principles like: discretion, interculturalism, as well as an inter-religious and a non-partisan attitude towards the clients.
Counseling may contain: support in crises, company in difficult circumstances, talking to someone, support in making a decision, finding alternative solutions, gaining information, health care, prevention of violence...
The professional team at COURAGE consists of men and women, both being experts in: counse- ling, social work, psychotherapy, sexual therapy, psychology, psychiatry, education, jurisprudence, mediation, supervision and coaching.
